Kratie Province : Koh Samseb Eco-Tourism Community
The Koh Samsep eco-tourism community was established based on the potential resources of the forestry and fishing communities of Khsach Lao, Koh Khner and Tay Chea. This community is rich in many types of forests, including deciduous and semi-deciduous forests, which are important habitats for wildlife such as white-tailed deer, wild boar, peacock, white-tailed vulture, and is rich in hundreds of species of birds and abundant fish, etc. In the three fishing communities, there are deep canyons, ravines, islands and flooded forests that are important spawning habitats for fish. Overall, this area is rich in natural resources such as forests, rivers, creeks, streams, wildlife, birds and many species of fish that live in the Mekong River. Cultural resources include New Year's festivals, Sen Pren ceremonies, ancient music, magic and weddings, etc., and indigenous traditions. In addition, the people in this area have a good culture: they help each other, are not biased, are friendly, have good manners and do not cheat each other, which is a good example.
