Kratie Province : Mekong River Resort - Kampi
Mekong River-Kampi Water Resort: A natural resort located on the Mekong River, 16 km. along Road No. 377 north of the provincial capital, located in Kbal Kampi Village, Sambok Commune, Chet Borei District, Kratie Province. It is a gathering place for many small islands, as well as sandy beaches and flowing rivers of various shapes. There are reed trees, reed trees, and clear river water in the dry season, allowing tourists to swim and have fun. Mekong River-Kampi Water Resort is seasonal, meaning visitors can only visit during the dry season, from January to May. Visitors can go swimming and then come back to eat at the water houses built in rows, flowing there. The fish in this region include buffalo fish, crow fish, two-faced pava fish, preul fish, and chak chren. Guests can use them to cook special dishes from this region such as grilled fish, fried fish, and fried fish according to their needs. Chak chren is a type of fish with a long tail that is found in the Kampi area.
