Takeo Province : Neang Khmao Temple
Neang Khmao Temple: Located in the Neang Khmao Temple complex in Rovieng Commune, Samrong District, near National Road 2, approximately 52 km from Phnom Penh and 27 km from Takeo provincial capital. This temple was built of sandstone and brick in the Koh Ke style by King Jayavarman IV in the 10th century (921-941) of the Christian era for the Brahmanical religion, with three temples side by side. However, only two of the temples remain today. Neang Khmao Temple has also been damaged in many places.
