Pursat Province : Lapak Kamron Resort
Traveling on National Road 55, which stretches from Pursat City to Thma Da Commune on the border with Trat Province, Thailand, more than 180 kilometers long and about 55 kilometers from Pursat City, tourists will see a sign on the left indicating the destination of Lapak Kamron Resort, waiting for the presence of tourists who want to come and enjoy the fun. Lapak Kamron Resort is located in Angkrung Village, Samrong Commune, Phnom Kravanh District, Pursat Province. It highlights the beauty of small bamboo forests that grow together to form a cool bamboo canopy for sitting and relaxing before walking down to the water. After relaxing at Lapak Kamron Resort, tourists should not forget to visit the Pursat orange plantation of real Pursat people and taste the original oranges. The waterfall flows over rocks that emerge from the bottom of the Pursat River during the rainy season. The history of this waterfall is that originally there was a large rock like a wall blocking the river, creating a waterfall with a strong flow of water, making it difficult to travel through. Even all kinds of fish rarely swim over this waterfall. The villagers here call it "Rare Waterfall" because travelers rarely cross this waterfall, so it became a waterfall. For this reason, they also used this place as a stopover for people who climbed down and those who climbed up to sell goods or exchange goods with each other. In the past, this waterfall was very rich in fish because it was impossible to swim through, so the villagers would often catch them and make them into fish, fish, and fish for sale. Logging traders came to work there, and they brought wood in groups, but they had difficulty with the waterfall, so they planted mines to destroy the large rock, which until now only remains in ruins. However, today, the waterfall still has a beautiful view, with the clear Ganges reflecting at the bottom of the river, and the water flowing down in stages during the rainy season for tourists to enjoy.
