Siem Reap : Kampong Phluk Natural Tourism Community
The Kampong Phlok Nature Tourism Community was established on August 20, 2013, with the aim of supporting the village women to improve their livelihoods by providing them with a new occupation: boating to transport tourists to see wildlife and the flooded forest, which has been growing and being maintained since 1931. The community is located in three villages: Kok Ktol Village, Dei Krueng Village, and Thnaot Kambot Village, in Prasat Bakong District, Siem Reap Province.[1] The services provided by the community include:
-Visit to the villager’s house
-Visit to Kampong Phlok Wat
-Visit to the school
-Visit to make shrimp and fish fry
-Visit to fish
-Dining at a floating restaurant
-Driving to see the flooded forest and wildlife
-Visit to watch the sunset over Tonle Sap Lake.
Kampong Phlok Nature Tourism Community is a nature tourism area located approximately 32 kilometers from Siem Reap city, approximately 1 hour away.
Tourists ride boats, canoes, and take pictures of the beautiful natural beauty of the flooded forest and the vast Tonle Sap River. In addition, you will gain insight into living in the Kampong Phluok community.
