Phnom Penh : Boating along the riverbank
When arriving in Phnom Penh, national and international tourists often choose places to visit according to their preferences. Some visit the Royal Palace, the National Museum, the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum, and visit Wat Phnom, etc. At the same time, choosing a boat ride is also a good option that tourists should not overlook when visiting Phnom Penh. Every day, more than 30 tourist boats are lined up along the Tonle Sap River at the east end of Wat Phnom to wait to transport national and international tourists at any time. Each boat owner sits on a chair on the riverbank near the road waiting to welcome guests from near and far who want to rent a boat for an hour or two hours according to their preferences. On this boat ride, guests can relax and enjoy the breeze along the river without having to order food or drinks. They can ride a small boat or a large boat, depending on their ability to afford it. At the same time, some groups of tourists like to prepare their own food, wine, and snacks, then rent a boat to ride, dance, and sing on the boat. Some guests order food directly from the boat owner, who sets a time to leave with the boat owner. When the time is right, they all get on the boat, raise their glasses, and have fun with their friends. The cost of the service is $25 per hour for 10 guests or less. However, if guests order food and wine or beer, the boat owner will prepare a set for $15 per person, not including the boat service fee.
