Oddar Meanchey Province : Elephant Temple

Elephant Temple Elephant Temple is located in Kok Mon Commune, Banteay Ambel District, Oddar Meanchey Province, on the Dang Rek Mountain Range, built in the 11th to 13th centuries. This temple has a stone block shaped like an elephant crouching down to the ground. This shape and form indicate that this temple is the place where an elephant crouched down to let the king sit on its back in this temple. Not only that, the elephant's strength is so strong that everyone has confidence.
