A lead meeting on strengthening tourism service quality in Kampong Phluk Commune.
Oknha Chhay Sivlin, President of the Cambodia Tourism Association (CATA), led a meeting with tourism operators and relevant stakeholders in Kampong Phluk commune, including large boat and small boat tourism communities, the local fishing community, commune authorities, and local police representatives. The meeting focused on enhancing service quality and hospitality standards to better meet the expectations of tourists and improve the overall visitor experience.
Participants also discussed approaches to promote sustainable tourism development by leveraging local natural resources and community potential, ensuring long-term resilience and growth of the tourism sector. The discussion highlighted the importance of strong collaboration among the private sector, local communities, and authorities in improving service standards and supporting sustainable tourism development in Kampong Phluk.
