During the 2025 Annual Work Summary and 2026 Strategic Direction Conference of the Ministry of Tourism, Mr. Ho Vandy, Advisor of the CATA, participated as an Honorary Speaker in a panel discussion under the theme: “Visit Cambodia in the Green Season: The Value of Sustainable Tourism”.

The discussion was moderated by H.E. Younes Mohamad, Under Secretary of State of the Ministry of Tourism, focusing on key challenges and opportunities faced by tourism businesses and service providers during the green season.

The session highlighted important issues, including the operational challenges during the green season and the strategies of the Cambodia Tourism Association (CATA) in supporting the Ministry of Tourism’s “Visit Cambodia” campaign. The discussion also emphasized efforts to attract international visitors to Cambodia during the 2026 green season.

This panel discussion underscored the vital role of the private sector in promoting sustainable tourism, enhancing visitor experiences, and contributing to the long-term and balanced development of Cambodia’s tourism industry.
