Oknha Chhay Sivlin Participates in High-Level Tourism Cooperation Discussion in Ho Chi Minh City.

On 4 August 2025 in Ho Chi Minh City: H.E. Huot Hak, Minister of Tourism of Cambodia, granted a courtesy call to Mr. Nguyen Hong Hai, President of the Viet Nam Tourism Association, and his colleagues at the Rex Hotel to discuss new cooperation initiatives in the tourism sector between Cambodia and Viet Nam. On this meaningful and fruitful occasion, H.E. the Minister expressed his sincere appreciation to the Viet Nam Tourism Association and its members for their active contribution in bringing Vietnamese and international tourists to Cambodia, with arrivals reaching nearly one million visitors during the first eight months of 2025.

At the same time, H.E. the Minister listened to the association’s requests and welcomed proposals to further strengthen bilateral tourism cooperation. These included organizing familiarization trips (Famtrips) to explore Cambodia’s tourism potential, engaging with Cambodia’s private sector to develop attractive and competitive tour packages, and promoting Cambodia’s tourism strengths more widely by highlighting its safety, strong potential, and warm hospitality to the people of Viet Nam and international travelers.
