A courtesy meeting with the Ministry of Tourism to strengthen cooperation and enhance the competitiveness of the tourism sector.

On 16 January 2026, Oknha Chhay Sivlin, President of the CATA, led the CATA Board of Directors and members to a courtesy meeting presided over by H.E. Huot Hak, Minister of Tourism of Cambodia. The meeting aimed to further strengthen close cooperation between the Ministry of Tourism and CATA, as well as to jointly identify key measures to enhance the resilience of Cambodia’s tourism sector and sustain its competitiveness within the region. During the discussion, Oknha Chhay Sivlin presented a brief report to H.E. the Minister, highlighting CATA’s past tourism promotion activities both domestically and internationally, as well as outlining the Association’s action plan for 2026 to continue supporting tourism growth and momentum.
