Coastal FAM Trip to Koh Rong Organized by CATA and Apsara Resort

The FAMtrip to Apsara Resort, Koh Rong, was a collaborative initiative between the resort and the Cambodia Tourism Association (CATA), designed to give CATA members a firsthand experience of the resort’s offerings. The trip aimed to strengthen business relationships and position Apsara Resort as a premium destination for leisure travel, group tours, and events.

The program took place over two days, with 45 participants arriving on 23 May 2025. Upon arrival, guests were warmly welcomed by the resort team and taken on a guided tour of the property. They explored the newly developed villas, beachfront facilities, dining venues, and activity areas. The evening featured a networking dinner by the beach, offering a relaxed setting for CATA members and resort representatives to connect.

The highlight of the trip was the Grand Opening Ceremony, held on the morning of 24 May 2025. The ceremony was graced by the presence of H.E. Meng Sinet, Governor of Sihanoukville, along with government officials, CATA members, and local media representatives. Resort management officially inaugurated the property with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, opening remarks, and a presentation highlighting the resort’s vision and commitment to excellence in hospitality. The event concluded with refreshments and a group photo session, creating a memorable and meaningful moment for all attendees.

CATA members expressed strong interest in promoting Apsara Resort to their clients, particularly highlighting its serene atmosphere, professional service, and suitability for high-end travel experiences. The FAM trip not only showcased the resort’s potential but also laid the foundation for future collaborations.
