Cambodia Tourism Association (CATA) participated in the welcome reception for the Diamond Princess cruise ship was successfully held at the Sihanoukville Autonomous Port on December 29, 2025. The vessel safely docked in Cambodia, bringing a total of 2,850 international passengers.
The ceremony was highly presided over by H.E. Huot Hak, Minister of Tourism, and H.E. Mang Sineth, Governor of Preah Sihanouk Province.
The safe arrival of the Diamond Princess cruise ship reflects Cambodia’s readiness and capacity to receive international cruise tourists, particularly via maritime routes, while ensuring safety, security, and quality hospitality services.
This event marks another positive milestone in promoting Cambodia as a safe, friendly, and attractive tourism destination, in line with the national tourism promotion campaign “Visit Cambodia.”
