Oknha Sivlin Chhay, President of the Cambodia Tourism Association, participated in the 2025 Annual Eco-Tourism Event: “Explore Cambodia in the Green Season”

On the afternoon of 14 June 2025, H.E Huot Hak, Minister of Tourism, presided over the 2025 Annual Eco-Tourism Event under the theme “Explore Cambodia in the Green Season,” held over two days (14–15 June) with approximately 20,000 domestic and international participants. The event aimed to celebrate Tonle Sap and its surrounding ecosystem, promote domestic tourism, and foster community-based tourism development.

The program featured a wide range of activities, including eco-tourism trails, friendly sports competitions among communities, cycling tours, adventure tourism along Tonle Sap, community product exhibitions, environmental clean-ups, tree planting, eco-camping, documentary screenings, family evaluations, lantern lighting, and cultural performances.

The event gathered participants from 17 local communities and VIPs, including H.E Di Rado, Deputy Governor, H.E Brak Sophan, Governor of Siem Reap Province, Oknha Sivlin Chhay, President of the Cambodia Tourism Association, provincial tourism and environment officials, representatives from the Tonle Sap Foundation, commune and village chiefs, and community residents.
