The opening ceremony of the tourism professional capacity building training program covering four key skills was held in Preah Sihanouk Province on January 9, 2026. The four training areas include:

1. Food and Beverage Service

2. Culinary Skills

3. Housekeeping

4. Front Office Operations

The program was implemented by the Cambodia Tourism Association (CATA), with support from the Ministry of Tourism and the Preah Sihanouk Provincial Administration. Financial support was provided through a matching grant from the Skills Development Fund (SDF), while the training venue was hosted by the Preah Sihanouk Provincial Tourism Vocational Training School.

This initiative aims to enhance professional skills and workforce capacity in the tourism sector, ensuring service quality aligned with industry standards and contributing to the sustainable development and competitiveness of Cambodia’s tourism industry.
